And 8k? Like the amd workstation card?

camel_toad2838d ago (Edited 2838d ago )

I just got a 1080 a month ago but between this and the titan I'm already wondering how long my 1080 will be able to keep up with the games.

ninsigma2838d ago

Unless you're using it for a workstation then this card is a non contender. Way too much for the current level of games. 1080 will do you just fine for a long time.

SinkingSage2837d ago

You don't need this, this is for high level video rendering and to display giant resolutions, it's basically for advanced video work, no game will need these kinds of spec requirements for many years.

samden2837d ago

Let's not forget that the P6000 will also cost at least $5000. Are people really willing to pay that for gaming?

Pandamobile2838d ago

You will be very disappointed unless you're doing some hardcore CAD, CG rendering or video editing.

SinkingSage2837d ago

It will probably cost as much as a good second-hand car. Why do you want this?

ocelot072837d ago

Am no expert but I don't think a second-hand car will help me play Battlefield 1 at 4K/120fps. But no am not buying 3 of these am joking. I paid a little over £400 for a pair of RX 480s 2 weeks ago. Am still planning on getting my head checked as I have never paid that much for a single part on my PC before.

Most I have spent on a GPU before is around £280. So yer just to be clear I don't plan on spending £10k for 3 of these things.

SinkingSage2837d ago

@ocelot07 I paid 30€ for my GTX 560 and I'm perfectly content with it, nice deal you got on those RXs.

Cweed2838d ago

Lol who the fuck is using this shit with HDMI?

VJGenova2837d ago

No one. That was my point. I game with my 980tis and a 60" 4k tv that uses HDMI 2.0 This isn't designed for gaming, so out!

How Many More Victims, Like Garry's Mod, Will Nintendo's Hurtful Crusade Create?

Hanzala from eXputer: "As Nintendo takes out 20 years' worth of stuff from Garry's Mod, I watch in shock, thinking why it continues to hurt and discourage its fans."

RiseNShine46m ago(Edited 45m ago)

The irony that some of the most disgusting business practices come from companies like Disney or Nintendo, i can't even begin to understand what terrible damage was Garrys Mod making to Nintendo bottom line, imho they're getting pretty nervous about where they're heading in the future, handhelds are no longer something exclusive to Nintendo, from Steam Deck to many others, now you can play the latest games and pay a fraction of the price on Steam sales, so it's up to their exclusives, which just on their own would make hard to justify purchasing a closed overpriced hardware with outrageous price policies (Super Mario Odyssey is still 60 euro 6 years later!), and as a home console they're always underperforming compared to Sony or Xbox.
