FIFA 17 won't feature Barcelona's Camp Nou as Konami have announced that they have signed an exclusive deal with FC Barcelona for PES 2017 and beyond.

I hate all this exclusive crap. Let them both have rights & let the public be the winners. I usually get both games at launch, give them a good run out & sell on the one I least prefer & if it's PES this year I'd miss out on the Camp Nou, gutted..

thats the problem, they think they need it to help sell. i agree, no exclusive crap and let the consumer decide which to get. personally i like the play style of pes better but fifa has more flash and better presentation/commentary.

There is a reason for this...and it's name is FIFA. EA has been constantly, year by year, trying to buy up all of the licenses for the major leagues. The only way that PES can compete with that is to purchase individual team licenses (for those that can do that) and pay for the leagues that won't sell exclusivity. It's pretty much EA's tactic of trying to make PES compete on an uneven playing field. They were successful with this tactic with American football to the point that Madden is the only option at this point. But, with football (soccer) having a much larger reach and no singular licensing body, it's a much harder task for EA...and that much larger for PES.

Can't really complain since EA have been hogging the Premier League licence for many years. I wish it would end and both games can have real kits for all teams.

Yeah but if you love PES and love the EPL too, you shouldnplay PES on PC. The mods there are amazing and they have all the teamsnwith the correct names and kits. I always prefer to play PES on PC due to this and of course better performance.

FIFA on the other hand has always been made with consoles in mind. No matter how many times I tried, it just didn't feel right on the PC. Just my opinion

Did you actually play PES 16 on PC? It was a port from the PS3/360 version and ran on an old engine. It hasn't been confirmed yet but Konami might do the same thing this year.

And on the PS4 you can also import kits, logos, etc.

I played 2015 on PC but 2016 I bought it during a sale on PSN for cheap and played it on PS4.

I don't know about the PC version being last gen ports but PES does look better on PC compared to FIFA but maybe that's just me

Yer I know about the kit import. The PS4 version of 2016 supported it. Not a fan of the way Konami treated the PC version last year. As mentioned it was not the same as the PS4/XB1 version. It was a port of the PS3/360 version on another engine.

It's alright, Camp Nou is an old crumbling stadium anyway, that has 20,000 empty seats for most games except for a few big ones a season. Barcelona are having to spend a fortune to modernise it, it really needs it.

Well it certainly needs updating but it's not crumbling. And when there is 20,000 empty seats still means there's a good 79,000 inside, in fact the average attendance last season was 83,749 , but it does have empty seats against smaller sides but that's what happens when you've got the biggest stadium in Europe. And after the refurb it's going to have 105,000 capacity I think.

It's very tired and dirty, in poor condition really the worst stadium owned by such a big club in Europe I have ever been to and I have been to lots and lots. Many Italian stadiums are terrible, but most of those clubs don't have remotely like Barcelona's money so it's harder to criticise them.

Yeah, Barcelona's average attendance is really quite low considering the size of the stadium. Dortmund's is smaller and they manage a higher average, Manchester United's is considerably smaller but they fill it every game so there isn't much difference between their average and Barcelona's!

Dortmund and Manchester are also much much smaller cities than Barcelona with far less population. Interesting.
