SEGA's classic RPG series returns with a fighting spirit. See how it stacks up in our Blade Arcus From Shining: Battle Arena review.
Adriel: The war between corporate greed and passion has always run deep within the games industry, but for every overmilked, aging franchise, there is someone out there who has a true love of the art. These people want to make a profit, sure, but they also want to spread joy and variety to the masses; Studio Saizensen is among them.
Almost a year has passed since the 2D anime fighter, Blade Arcus from Shining: Battle Arena released in Japan. Now, the game finally is being made available in the west on PC.
In cooperation with publisher Degica, Studio Saizensen today announced that the one-on-one fighter Blade Arcus from Shining: Battle Arena is coming to Steam July 28th.
While this is a beautiful fighting game, I'm sad to see the Shining series coming to this, especially if it's the only title we are getting in the west. Shining resonance would've been nice even if it's not a SJRPG.
It's a shame there aren't more modes. SFV has the same problem.
