NWR: Six Flags Fun Park Review

NWR writes: "On April 2nd, 2009, Standard and Poor's adjusted the credit rating of Six Flags Inc. to "highly speculative." This rating was coupled with a warning that Six Flags has very little chance of avoiding Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection. After playing Six Flags: Fun Park, it isn't hard to figure out how this happened: if this game is even remotely similar to the Six Flags experience, I'd rather just vacation at home."

IGN: Six Flags Fun Park Review

IGN writes: "It seems like the now-defunct Brash Entertainment wanted a "different" kind of mini-game compilation, but their out of the box approach only landed them in another very lame box. The quests are uninteresting and the game's "40 Thrilling Games" (as touted by the box) are far from entertaining. I have many fond memories of Six Flags, but Fun Park is not one of them".

Gaming Age: Six Flags Fun Park Review

Gaming Age writes:

"When I started playing Six Flags Fun Park (SFFP) my expectations were extremely low. I recently reviewed 30 Great Games for the Wii, which was one of the worst games I have ever played, and I thought SFFP was going to be in the same category. I admit I was wrong. While not the greatest game in the world, I have enjoyed playing this game. Maybe it was my expectation of failure or the unhealed wounds left by 30 Great Games. In any case, I think the mini games are somewhat fun and the story line and associated endless mini quests were passable, at worst and even occasionally entertaining. If it wasn't for the mini game's controls and the redundancy of the mini games (a large amount of the games are just re-branded versions of the other mini games) SFFP would have received a pretty good score."
