Xbox Live Summer of Arcade to return?
The Summer of Arcade (known as the Winter of Arcade by our Antipodean cousins) was a seasonal promotional event that showcased the latest Xbox Live Arcade titles, and ran annually from 2008 until 2013. The promotion brought us some of the greatest XBLA games around – from Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 in 2008, all the way to the phenomenal Brothers: A Tale of two Sons in 2013. Throughout the summer for five weeks (four weeks in 2013) a new (and usually excellent) XBLA title landed with a splash on our Xbox 360s. There was often an incentive for picking them all up, often in the form of Rewards Credits for Xbox Live Rewards members.
