Promising But Laboured Zombie Apocalypse Survival – The Final Station Preview

Pixelgate writes:

*Based on the preview build*

''Zombies are overdone, this is a fact at this point. It’s like anyone wanting to make a game for a quick buck will force in zombies. How many more times can you survive the undead? When does it become too much? Is there even anything else to explore in a world full of undead? Apparently there is.''

You can also add old school RPGs to the mix if you’re into them. Their slow pace work great with my old laptop. Currently playing Trails in the sky.

Star Wars & Sherlock star but are the free Xbox Games With Gold titles for Nov 2019 worth your time?

Neil writes: "There should never be a refusal to acknowledge free stuff, and with the Xbox Games With Gold scheme the free games and experiences have come in multiple forms over the years. But as the Xbox Game Pass slowly tightens its grip on the gaming world, the power and prestige of the Games With Gold scheme has diminished. Surely though with Star Wars and Sherlock Holmes games going free throughout November 2019, the draw and appeal should be huge again?"

The worst month ever. Ever since GP grew in popularity GWG selections have been horrible.

chiefJohn1171665d ago

Not really, last few months been pretty good

Ricegum1665d ago

Wow. It has clearly been terrible, and looks worse when Sony's offerings are so much better.

Cueil1665d ago

the One games are actually pretty decent... not great, but nothing to be upset about

Mr Pumblechook1665d ago (Edited 1665d ago )

The Xbox One game is Final Station?
I'm not going to lie, hearing Major Nelson's stupid voice fawn over this selection makes the pain so much worse.

autobotdan1665d ago

Last two months were real good including October. November just looks bad

IamTylerDurden11665d ago

GwG has a good month every now n then, but overall the quality is way down since Gamepass. Way too many terrible months like this one.

thexmanone1665d ago

Sorry you don`t like the free games. II don`t have any of those so I am looking forward to giving them a try.

Neonridr1665d ago

@2pacalypsenow - neither are PS+ games. Nothing new here.

DerfDerf1665d ago

That Sherlock Holmes game is actually really good.

Master of Unlocking1665d ago (Edited 1665d ago )

Maybe, but with Microsoft people who pay for Xbox Live still get 4 games on 2 different platforms, instead of just 2 on 1 platform on Playstation, since Sony have stopped offering games for the PS3 (and the PS Vita before that). When you think it was Sony who came up with that idea of charging people not to play online but to rent games. Just how much lower can they stoop, it makes you wonder...

SolidGamerX1665d ago

When those four games are trash your argument is a wash and when a company like Microsoft follows suit and does the very same thing it makes you wonder how much lower they can stoop too right, or are you just singling out Sony?

IamTylerDurden11665d ago

Yet PS+ offered 6 games on PS+ for years while MS offered 4. When PS5 releases in a year the PS+ offering will go back to at least 4. Meanwhile, since dropping to 2 games the quality has dramatically increased. There are no issues here, you just seem salty that GwG is terrible atm

KingTrash1665d ago

So just get gamepass. It could not be a better value. You have to expect that games with good will suffer when Xbox is offering so much for so little on gamepass.

Only one I'd prob get is Jedi Starfighter otherwise meh.

NecrumOddBoy1665d ago (Edited 1665d ago )

Is Starfighter similar to Rogue Squadron?

Edit: After research it looks horrible. You just move a reticle around an empty map.

DerfDerf1665d ago (Edited 1665d ago )

It's not just a reticule. You can see the entire ship and what not just like you would in Rogue Squadron if you choose to. It's also not just an empty map. You are on different planets, in space. It's actually very similar to RS. Not nearly as good though.

Neonridr1665d ago

Rogue Squadron series is so much better.

rainslacker1665d ago

It's not horrible, but it's nowhere near as good as Rogue Squadron.

The Sherlock Holmes game is pretty good if you like adventure type games.

RosweeSon1665d ago

Yeah I like Star Wars but for that to be the best game is shocking it’s a ps2 game lol

ajax171665d ago

They're giving mediocre games on gold so people buy game pass. It's a shitty move, but a smart one.

First bad month all year calm down
