Nintendo will discontinue the online multiplayer service for the Devil’s Third game for the Wii U console on December 28, 2016.

A shut down of the most worthwhile mode after only a year?
This could not have turned out worse.
This and Bayonetta 2 were the only reasons I ever wanted a Wii U. Last Nintendo console I owned was the N64 back in the 90's.
How ironic, considering the online portion of the game was the only entertaining part of the game, judging by the trailers.
The campaign reminded me of the disaster that was John Romero's Daikatana on the N64, or more recently, Inafune's Mighty #9. Just goes to show what blind loyalty towards a developer could turn into.
