It feels as though the original NES controls were left in place, as if the developers didn't realize we have more buttons to work with now. Some people say the game eventually "clicks" for them, and moving Spencer around the screen becomes second nature. That never happened for me. I was constantly measuring every move I made to allow as much time as possible to maneuver my thumbs into position for the next stage of my jump."
