Burnout team drops its ‘Beyond Cars’ game to work on Star Wars instead

Criterion's "biggest game ever" isn't happening.

Criterion is currently co-developing the Star Wars Battlefront: X-Wing VR Mission with DICE for PlayStation VR. The title will be free for everyone who owns Star Wars Battlefront on PlayStation 4. Criterion is also experimenting with new intellectual property, according to GameSpot's report.
