GV reports:
''Well, this one kind of took me by surprise. As I was making my way out of the convention hall today to head back to the hotel and do some writing, I happened to see an open DS station. I didn't even look at what booth I was near, but just approached the system to see what game was in the interactive, in case it was something I should get impressions of. What I found was Destineer's Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ, and with a title like that, how could I possibly walk away?
In this retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, Red is fighting a zombie apocalypse on the way to her grandmother's house, and has also ditched her cloak and is dressed not unlike a porn star. The game is completely controlled by stylus, with the touch screen being used for attacking, defending, and moving, and as Red, you will use various weapons and hand-to-hand combat to destroy wave after wave of zombies.''
Lisa heads down the rabbit hole to check out some of the weirdest fairy tale games ever made.
ou play as one of two heroes: the buxom, all-grown-up version of Little Red Riding Hood or her pal Momotaro, a Japanese fairy-tale figure said to have been born from a giant peach. Red’s home, Fairy Tale Land, has been overrun by hordes of slavering baddies, coaxed from their coffins by what you eventually discover, through increasingly silly dialogue between Red and her companion, is some sort of evil, unnatural plague.
