With Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End using the new hardware of the PlayStation 4, and the importance of it to be the finale of the story of Nathan Drake at the very least, the bar for the game was set very high. So how did it do? (there will be spoilers)
Interesting... Side area's were boring, treasures pointless, "where's Dark Souls style item descriptions? Wouldn't it be sweet to know if Bonny was a pirate lover? Or who the first traitor was? SO much potential forever lost. Just 1 more step and we could have had legitimate worthy replay value." Only replay value is mirror mode and infinite rocket launcher ammo, "ohh goodie!... Why didn't they just let you defend that bridge in Madagascar, put some heroes around, some traps and shoot for a high score? Would have been better replayability than it's perfectly polished boring multiplayer that died the day it released, "Lets be honest, NOBODY who owns an actual good mutliplayer game is playing Uncharted 4 multiplayer now or ever, and if they are, they are such an intensely huge fan, they'd rather play a mediocre multiplayer than a great one." Like... The experience was incredible, but its a 1 time play 14 hour game for 80CA, "and it's not even the entire story, get ready to shell out another 20-30 bucks for it's Chloe DLC". 100+ dollars for a 1 time singleplayer game with no replay value likely no longer than 20 hours... Just... Put that beside Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, LBP, almost every Nintendo game and it's fails so badly in comparison as a VIDEO GAME it's not even funny. A near perfect, "experience", that's more interactive movie than game. As an, "experience?" I'd give it a 9.5, near perfect. As a video game?... I'd give it a 5. I'll pass on the next Uncharted in favor for the next Elder Scrolls game. **ACTUALLY JESSI, I HAPPEN TO LIKE 4HR VIDEO GA- /s /s /s /s /sssssssssssss
Ha! You like Nintendo
Yes he likes it so much that he wrote a blog on it!
Actually Uncharted 4 isn't 4 hours long. Nor is it an interactive movie. Until Dawn and Quantum Break are closer to that than Uncharted 4 is plus neither has multiplayer and thus much less value.
Agreed...the game is even less than mediocore to me. Id give it a 6 maaaybr 7 if im generous. Caught the pattern of gimmicks they like to use to death. This is how it goes. Nate talks, then walks maybe sometimes both, then climbs, then shoots, then climbs with the added gimmick of the "nearly" falling to "death" cutscene but hangs on to a branch or cliff side or a goddam car hanging kilometers away from horizontal ground, as if the universe intended it (idiotic and silly writing if u ask me. Yes, i said writing. face it UC fans, its barely out of the thick line of being an interactive movie) then gets up and talks and shoots some more rinse and repeat. Also there are actually no side areas at all. Just the illusions of them. I dont consider a slight curve from the main path for a 10 second traversal to get some useless treasure a side area tbh. When you look at bloodborne, now thats a freakin side area! Took me many hours to finish upper cathedral ward let alone cainhurst castle. New music, enemies, bosses, evironmental changes and shortcuts, items, weapons and armor it doesnt end basically. Not just a gold goblet or trinket or some shite thats completely useless without even a description. Lets not even talk about witchers side areas! Thst could take hours. Naughty dog could learn so much from FROMSOFT and CDproject.
A SUITABLE RATING AND THIS DESERVED IT . I AM CURRENTLY PLAYING IT AND I WOULD GIVE IT 100/10 BECAUSE IT HAS A AMAZING GRAPHICS.
