PS Plus fans, we’re pleased to share with you two excellent PS4 PS Plus games for June.

First up, to help get everyone hyped for the NBA Finals, we’ve teamed up with 2K to add NBA 2K16 to the June lineup. One of the most critically acclaimed sports titles ever, NBA 2K16 has tons of great gameplay for everyone. With robust offline modes like MyCareer and MyGM, and deep online modes including MyTeam and MyLeague, there is an incredible amount of content to offer all types of gamers. So be the baller you always wanted to be and guide your team to the NBA Championship.

Awesome. Really enjoyed the game when I played the 4 day trial this passed weekend for free on Xbox Live, great that Sony is giving the full game with PS+. Also interested in Gone Home, very good month

Good to see NBA there, my son got the basketball bug with the play offs... Even though the Raptors were beaten by the officials and some team called Cleveland, he was still asking if he could stay up and watch the game last night.... i will surprise him with this.... finally get him off FIFA.....

81 ps4 games offered. how many were retail $60 games at one time? so why target me for being right and we all know ps4 owners and even the media have complained about how they are mostly indie games. it's time to celebrate, not get mad for speaking the truth.

I have never been that interested in sports games but from what I can gather NBA2k16 is really good game for those who like the genres. Good one Sony.

I will give "Gone Home" a play though since I do like Action/Adventure however, this game is classified as Adventure so that should be interesting. As for "Siren" on the PS3 and "Echochrome" (actually my wife may like that as well) on the PS4 -- give me a break there are only so many hours one can allocate to gaming and I have not even finished "Zombi" not to mention the other games I have. 😂

Sigh! -- Oh well back to Bloodborne. 😉

Gone Home is a really quick game and completed in a few hours but NBA 2k16 is a great pick up and makes it a good month

Even if you don't like Basketball NBA2k16 is a great game, especially with some friends.
On the other hand Goat Simulator might be fun for a few minutes but believe me, you'll quickly feel stupid for enjoying this kind of entertainment. Though I guess it would be a better game for PS+ than Gone Home.

It's a 2 hour game though, at least with Goat Simulator it's a sandbox that's quite frequenty updates with new DLC etc.

I heard Goat Simulator was actually pretty good. I have to give it a try. NBA 2K16 is good (I already own it for my XB1). If I didn't, I'd probably get the PS4 version.

Id prefer goat simulator myself. None of my friends care about sports games so the playing with your friends part/argument is invalid to me as far as that decision goes.

2K16 is spectacular.

The ultimate team mode and rpg-like (Spike Lee directed) my career mode give dozens if not hundreds of hours of entertainment. Even if u are not a BB fan the my career mode is enjoyable. It has interactive cutscenes and rpg elements, u create your own character, it has multiple story paths with different outcomes. It's a lot of fun.

2k is coo...but spike Lee messed ot up...so much so made a YouTube video reviewing why it was so wrong and so bad and didn't make any since. After the story ends it's a great game tho.

Yea, I'm real happy with this lineup. I haven't been into basketball much in a long time, but looking forward to trying one for the first time in years. Especially after seeing how highly rated 2K16 was. All of these games I'll give a go. :)

I can't say much for Thisgengaming. Not real familiar, other than a few articles I've seen posted here and there. I just know the article was already outdated when I checked PS Blog and posted the above comment.

I literally commented within a few minutes of you posting the article, the one stating NBA 2K16 and Gone Home, with the rest unknown. (It was at the top of the pending list for Approval) The PS Blog with all 6 titles was already up at that time. You couldn't double check PS Blog before hitting "enter" to submit? Well even though I don't care about basketball much,.. Very happy to try it out,.. Apparently 2K16 is amazing.

Gone home is cool and all,.. (really wanted to play trough it,.. but would never buy it for 20 or whatever used to be the price on steam,..)

NBA 2K is a pretty big franchise. Not my cup of tea, but can't be said that it's a crap offering. Gone Home OTOH...I'm not too happy with my PS+ dollars going towards supporting this agenda driven piece of crap game. I'd rather some unknown indie game(crap or otherwise) that I can possibly discover some new developer from.

GOW for Vita and Siren is pretty good though.

Well, I understand you don't like that game. I will not say this kind thing, but some people do enjoy Gone Home. I say some people like it, not too many. Even I remember IGN gave Undertale 10/10 and calling it better than Zelda Orcina of Time. I was like " what ? ". Anyway, this is a solid month. I hope Sony will do the same like this . 1 AAA game and 1 indie game in every months.

Never said people couldn't enjoy it. Guess it's good so people can play it and see how bad the game actually is, and maybe show that some of these pandering websites are willing to give free passes in favor of that pandering. At least they can see first hand, instead of going off what they read on the internet. People are allowed to enjoy it, I'd just rather see the money spent on something not made to serve a political agenda, and made because the creator actually cares about games enough to try making one. It's a "popular" title, so nothing wrong with offering it. I just feel there are just better games out there they could have gotten cheaper, and probably would have been more fun for the player.

Gone home is absolute trash. I got down voted to hell the other day for calling it what it was, an sjw fantasy walking simulator. And the devs got exactly what they wanted, all the known pro sjw gaming websites gave that game 9's and 10's while the general user review scores on that game are 2's and 3's. To say that most people hate that game is the understatement of the century. Props though for the rest of the ps plus games which are excellent.

There's no controversy really it's just an example of media bias and how having an agenda that the media supports can help push your career. Most user review scores for this game are absolutely terrible and for good reason. The game is slow, very very deceptive in its nature and can literally be finished in 47 seconds (many players have done this already). Yet it has gotten rave reviews from the gaming media, why? Well, it's free this month so you go play it to the end (not speeding through it though) and you will understand exactly why.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind one AAA game each month,or even mid-tier games, along with some smaller games to round out the selection. The Vita and PS1/PSP offerings are still sometimes nice as well, since I still have a Vita and PS3.

The controversy isn't really the game itself. It's not much of a game, and barely passed in the game play department to make it a game. But that's something different. The game itself got some very prominent press from the gaming media due to why it was made, off the backs of the whole SJW movement, and overall it's pretty shallow in the story department, and panders to that crowd. Personally I feel it got a free pass because the media wanted to perpetuate this idea that games like this were welcome, or for some sites wanted to tow the line that anything created by the SJW crowd was worthwhile. But ultimately, it got a lot of attention just due to why it was made, not because it was a good game....which is where the controversy lies.

Some people seem to like it though. If you get it free, it's not a bad idea to play through it just so one wouldn't make any assumptions based on other people's feelings on it. It doesn't take long to complete, or even long to go through it 100%. Easy enough trophies I suppose...so there is that.

Agenda driven piece of crap? Are we being serious? The story about Kaitlins sister is hardly agenda driven, it's a story about two girls in 1995. You remember 1995? When it wasn't WIDELY accepted to have a same sex relationship? If people can't write games about varying perspectives without it being called pandering, well I don't know guys pack it up we might as well just play Quake 3 24/7.

It takes place in a house where you slowly piece together what happened there, it's got some neat interactive moments and if you have a heart you should be able to feel some kind of empathy. I'm not saying the game is for everyone (I like blowing stuff up as much as the next guy), it's not from a design/gameplay perspective and I could even see the argument that the way the story is presented is kind of stilted and does the game no favors. But not all games are for you and me; just like movies, music, and television. Drop the hater, SJW whining. It does you no favors buddy.

It's crap because it's about as shallow as a story can be. The game itself is bad because it barely passes for a game. There's nothing wrong with what the story is trying to portray, at least to me, its just that it was made to serve an agenda, and piggyback off a SJW movement, which is where most of its acclaim comes from.

The developer themselves are more than welcome to pursue such stories, but I don't respect that they didn't bother to make a proper game out of it, and then I liked even less just how much praise the press gave it because it came out at the height of the whole GG/SJW "war"(for lack of a better term)...all in an attempt to portray the SJW crowd as capable game developers when they didn't show any aptitude for making a game.

I also believe you're greatly overstating the "piecing together" stuff. It was pretty obvious from right near the beginning how it was going to end. There was no character development, and at no point did I feel any empathy, because the story did nothing to actually make me care about the characters themselves.

I'm a big fan of narrative driven interactive dramas. I just prefer them to have good narratives, proper pacing, and stuff to do besides walking around to piece together a story which is in shambles, lacks depth, and has meaningless characters who's only quality is one is supposed to feel empathy for them because they have some conflict, despite that conflict never being really explained in a way that was meaningful..

I haven't bought a basketball game in years though it's my favorite sport. I haven't followed any sports in years come to think it. I was a huge Bulls fan back when Michael Jordan was at the peek of his career. Scotty Pippin, Bj Armstrong, Michael Jordan, that entire team was amazing.
