IGN: PAX 2008: Monster Lab Hands-On

Eidos used PAX 2008 as a rollout out for the Nintendo DS version of Monster Lab, an Igor-simulator about building brutes in the depths of a secret laboratory and then sending them to explore the literal Uncanny Valley and battle against other creations. At the show, IGN had an opportunity to try out Monster Lab’s multiplayer functionality, pitting two hastily created monsters in wireless warfare.
