PS4 Exclusive Gran Turismo Sport Gets a Ton of New Screenshots and Gameplay Videos

After the unveiling of Gran Turismo sport, more screenshots and videos are emerging, showing quite a lot of the visuals of the game.

I'm more worried about the continuation of the bumper car physics. Why can't we have proper penalties and damage for hitting something in a GT game? Then again, it's arcade mode, so maybe that's why this presents itself the way it does.

The graphics look fantastic! I'm loving the look of the game thus far and I'm sure it'll get better. What I have an issue with are the sounds, can't say much about the physics. But they really need to get away from the dated design in GT6 with how it manages suspension and springs physics

If I go full in depth i'd be an essay, but I'll try and summarize. For one every car seems to drive like a front-drive, they all have this ridiculous mid-corner understeer that makes zero sense in cars like the GTR or Corvette ZR1. Every car for some reason feels ridiculously stiff, like even GT cars ride like they're running on flat tires. GT6 also did a terrible job with torque vectoring, its non-existent even on hyper cars.

I'm convinced that people complaining about GT's sounds fall into one of the following categories:
1. Have never actually listened to a car outside of video games.
2. Have really bad speakers (TV, headphones).
3. Have never played GT.

The car sounds in games like, say, Forza or Need for Speed are over the top. Yes, it makes the video game more exciting. No, it sounds nothing like real life.

Now I understand, i think a lot of people want to see GT to look next gen. I understand their frustration, but i think this game is about you and your car. GT is about art, speed and control of your car. Sure, you can hate their direction. But i think Kazunoti want us to love a car and treat it with respect. If you want to love GT, you have to love your car. If you watched any GT trailers in the past and now. It is now softer than it used to be. GT want us to be more precise than aggressive.

They're outnumbered and outgunned, those folks. It's cool to know that all the things I had said about the way Sony approaches a generation and the status of their game lineup so far is almost spot on, and pretty much 100% correct. You could only know this by being smart and historically observant, and not so stubborn to be right that you're clouded by your own ignorance.

What was that? Sony consoles are slow burners historically and it's only after 2-3 years that their lineup gets rolling to a point in which they are the absolute best in what they offer and become unsurmountable? Yep.... 2016 is here and looks like I was right. I was right that PS4 has the most games, the better rated games, the most diverse lineup of games, despite the delusional claims and cherry-picked excuses otherwise. In 2016, I am still right. PS4 has 2 90+ rated exclusive GOTG contenders already. I was right about indie games being worthy enough to have an equal place in amongst our AAA libraries. Looks like I was also right about XB1 never being able to overtake the PS4, despite the loyalists trying to make a case for "you never know". I'll probably be right about my prediction of 100+ million PS4 sales vs. XB1 being lucky to achieve 50 million. We were right in our discussions about the power difference between the 2 aforementioned consoles (which people to this day claim is negligible), and Uncharted 4 really shows how big a difference we're talking about, and future first-party exclusives will cement it. Will I be right about VR? Well those who have been downplaying it and going as far as denying that it is immersive (the most hilarious thing I've ever heard) have been proven wrong by the impressions and reactions of those who have played it. Hmmm... GT Sport being its spearheaded killer app adds credence to its potential success more than anything.

The "Sony will be bankrupt next year" claims were always the funniest to me. The lies they told themselves and spread around to others was the least funny. And all that arguing about this seems redundant considering how wrong the guys most desperate to be right have been.

Even now though, I'm looking at those articles of past "where are Sony's first-party studios?" and claims of their console's "sparse" lineup of games, and it's great to see how far logical foresight gets you when talking about video games. The company who is actually creating first-party Japanese games and also creating their own HUGE open-world RPG (Horizon) in-house, is the one being questioned. It's also funny (or maybe not so funny) to see a lack of people bringing up the question of "where are Microsoft's first-party studios?" now that they've cancelled a number of projects and closed about 8 first-party studios in one foul swoop. I wonder where the people calling PS4's lineup in 2015 "sparse" and are not to be seen questioning how goddamn sparse Xbox One is looking so far in 2016.

I love on the front page is another huge prediction that fell into place too. Titanfall 2 on PS4. Right next to a Sony exclusive finally on pace to outsell Halo. It's kinda like everything we said actually happened. Actually no it's not like kinda. It is everything we said happened. Lmao!
