PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale 2 - The Sequel?

Danny at IGCritic says "Whispers of a PS4 PlayStation All Stars sequel titled PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale 2 have been heard through the gamer-sphere for quite some time."

Now that would be interesting.

For the sequel, get rid of all the third party characters. The roster should be mainly Sony IP with maybe some other iconic characters that have appeared mostly on PS throughout their career (ie, Persona, Disgaea, etc)

Persona and Disgaea characters are third party characters though... Sure, they are exclusives, but they aren't developed by Sony or a Sony-owned studio... So they are third party.

I agree they should take out non-exclusives unless they are really important to Sony's history. (Would be great to see Lara Croft).

Lara, I would disagree with. She has been around for a long time and has been on everything at this point.

They need to add more obscure third party characters that have mainly stuck to Playstation throughout their lustrous career.

@ article .....and include which characters i ask?? Cloud and Snake were stolen from Nintendo , Crash is forbidden fruit, only Drake and Jak remain worthy as the old one...
if it is to be made must be taken seriously and must be given to a japanese dev (they know form fighting games).. also must include obligatory the following chars in order to have some success

Sephiroth, ,
Crash,
Snake,
Demon Slayer- (Demon Souls)
Hunter (bloodborne ),
Dante Vanilla,
Drake,
Chris-Jill,
Kazuya ,
Rathalos-armor Character (MonHon),
...secondly can be included some not so appealing characters ..aka Infamous,Kratos etcetc

And imagine if you choose RPG characters only, you can fight using classic turn based attacks.

However, I disagree. 3rd party would need a presence. Also, for the record, the Megami Tensei series was heavily on Nintendo systems so I don't know what you're talking about "mostly on PS."

I'm all for a Playstation All-stars sequel, but there are a bit of changes that should be made. Also, I want to see more RPG representation. Any final fantasy character, Dart from Legend of Dragoon, Toan from Dark Cloud, etc

THIS was an underrated game! I had a blast with my friends, on both Vita and PS4. They should simply add more content (look at Smash Bros FFS), enlarge the roster and add more stages. The game CAN be a hit, the gameplay was a lot of fun.

If they would have made it like smash bros than they would have had a winner. Game died quick within the community because of its gameplay

PlayStation has so many exclusive games throught the years it would be absolutely stupid not to make a sequel.

I tip, though - change Dante to the original one and you are free to do whatever you want.

I really hope they make a sequel, and nail it out the park this time around. I didnt like the first one, but I do like SMASH. I hope its more like SMASH BROS

I think if they made a sequel it should be more Power Stone than Smash Bros.
