Sorry Facebook, Your Chatbots Are Nothing Special

Facebook introduced chatbots for its Messenger not too long ago, and at first it seemed like it’s going to be a revolutionary. However, after talking to the said chatbots for a few hours, I was left disappointed and frustrated. Chatbots were said to be good enough to replace humans, but the way they’re operating, they are not even close to an actual human being. Look, obviously, they cannot create a replica of thinking human beings, but these bots are literally stupid and keep on repeating the same stuff over and over again. In the beginning, the whole process seemed pretty exciting, but it got boring real fast. Chatbots do provide some exciting prospects for the future, but in the state they’re in at the moment, it’s hard to stay impressed by this so-called futuristic tech.
