I dislike remasters but if your gonna do them then at least remaster the whole series like the master chief collection and the uncharted collection. I can appreciate those two remastered collections but all others was a waste of good man power. I would definitely buy a mass effect trilogy remaster.

LimitingPanda3320d ago

As a concept, I dislike remasters as well...that is until I see a game that I really care about :D

Gaming4Life19813320d ago

Yea i feel you on that one lol. Maybe the problem is this gen has become so engulfed by remasters that they are even going as far as remastering games no one even cares about.

DEAD-DEVIL-DISCO3319d ago

I just dont want them so soon. I want to play a remaster i forgot how to play to an extent. I never even checked sales charts for them yet to see whats the point. Like i would understand a few..._but never darksiders and dead island so forth.._

Perjoss3319d ago

And this time include all the DLC, not like that cheap ass ME trilogy they did

CorndogBurglar3319d ago

I dont dislike remasters. I had an xbox 360 last gen and never got to play the uncharted series or the last of us. Without the remasters i still would not have played them to this day. Just because people dont have an interest in certain remasters doesn't mean no remasters should exist. They do serve a great purpose.

Having said that, i played the entire ME trilogy on my 360 and would still give my third nut for a ps4 remaster!

Remaster them yourself at 4k/60fps on PC.

Antifan3319d ago

"For those who can afford 4K/60fps PCs" fine print ;)

NeoGamer2323319d ago

Because I have it on BC and don't want to pay to replay a game I have finished about 4-5 times.

Khaotic3319d ago

Why the F##K not, well EA has already said that they don't do remasters. Exact words were it means you're running out of ideas.

Bro missing companions: Legion, Grunt, Samara/Morinth, Javik, EDI

anast186d ago

Legion, Zaeed, and Jack are my favorites.

RiseNShine186d ago

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

anast186d ago

They lost too much talent.

IAMRealHooman186d ago

some in andromeda are decent, I agree with peebee and Vetra being good companions. Except Liam he's trash tier

anast186d ago

Liam lol I can't stand that dude.

Why The Mass Effect Series Is Still The Best Western RPG Trilogy

The Mass Effect trilogy shines as one of the only Western RPGs to give an immersive and unforgettable experience.

Terry_B383d ago

Your Opinion is wrong. (Witcher ftw)

Sonic1881382d ago (Edited 382d ago )

The Witcher trilogy is my favorite but I know everything is subjective.

thorstein382d ago

Balder's Gate trilogy is the best.

shinoff2183382d ago

There's much better wrpg series. Mass effect dumbed down after the first one. Seemed a but different going from the 1st to the second, not in a good way.

Knightofelemia381d ago (Edited 381d ago )

My favorite trilogy will be the Ar Tonelico trilogy, Xenosaga trilogy followed by the ME trilogy.

Nittdarko381d ago

How can it be the best trilogy when the 3rd one is terrible and the only thing it had going for it was the multiplayer?
Considering all 3 witcher games are better
Considering all 3 Dragon age games are better
Considering all 3 Baldur's gate games are better

Weird choice

ChasterMies381d ago

Witcher 1 looks like ass. Until we see a transfer, there is no getting around it.

Are Dragon Age games and Baldur’s Gate games a continuation of the same story or at least the same character? Even still, need some connection to make a trilogy. Lord of the Rings is a trilogy. Star Wars is a trilogy. James Bond 1-3 is not a trilogy. It’s just more movies with James Bond.

Origins was good. Really good. DAII was absolute shite, and Inquisition wasn't much better.

The 7 Best Western RPGs: Immersive Adventures

RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

SimpleSlave434d ago

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

DustMan434d ago

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave434d ago (Edited 434d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
