I think 4 and 2 are on the same place. #1

Ezz20133272d ago

To me Uncharted 4 is far ahead story, gameplay, graphics everything
took me 20hours to finish and didn't collect alot of things

DARKKENT3272d ago

From what I've played of uc4 so far its technical achievement alone ranks it 1st

The way the story is unfolding slow building its taking tips from the last of us which is great to see in an uncharted game

Uc4 1st (so far need to complete it)

Uc2 2nd

Cannot decide the rest as uc1 holds a special place as I knew this was the start of something big

I remember seeing gameplay demonstrations of Drake's Fortune before release and thinking it didn't look interesting at all. But when I got the demo, punched out my first bad guy, and snatched the ammo drop before it even hit the ground…the fluidity of that moment captivated me. I've been hooked ever since, and now I'm awaiting the darn UPS truck so I can start this grand finale for myself!

GamingIVfun3272d ago

All the games in the series are great, it's a great accomplishment to have every game in the series be a really good and memorable experience.

My favorite is 1, 2 and probably 4, but haven't played it yet.

DARKKENT

It's not at all fair to compare a PS3 game with a PS4 game from a technical point of view.

-Foxtrot3272d ago

Nah

Uncharted 2 is better then Uncharted 4

Back then it was more fresh, the story was better, it featured each character equally and the multiplayer was so unique since it stood out from all the gimmick driven multiplayers at the time.

Uncharted 4 is fantastic...it is, hell it really is but I hate how side lined Sully and Elena are in the LAST EVER Uncharted game. Sam this, Sam that honestly I get they wanted a story to tell to bring them back together one last time but they could have easily went another way.

If that scene with Sam in the prison was shown in a flash back during Uncharted 2, something to expand on in future games fair enough but it just feels a little forced and not brought up naturally. Hell even if you got a hint in the first two games he had a brother. or something yet nothing.

I havent played the 4th one but the second Uncharted was miles ahead of the other 2.

My copy of 4 hasn't arrived yet but for me it's 2 > 1 > 3 > Golden Abyss. 3 mechanically is a little better than the first game but when the original launched in 2007 I enjoyed it more than I enjoyed 3. Aside from the graphics I felt like 3 was worse than 2 in most other ways.

Dark_Knightmare23272d ago

3 a little better than 1 mechanically lol come one now 3 was better than 1 in every way. To name just a few graphics(of course ), characters, locales, characters, level design, story, character animations, voice acting, length, set pieces etc. Don't get me wrong uc 1 holds a special place in my heart because it was the start of this great series and paved the way for uc 2 to come and cement the uc series has my favorite game series but looking at things objectively 3 was better than it in pretty much every way

garrettbobbyferguson3272d ago (Edited 3272d ago )

Uncharted 2 Mp > All the other games. Made actual proper use of scaling environments.

Immorals3272d ago

4 could top that! 60 fps alone is a huge improvement

Skankinruby3272d ago (Edited 3272d ago )

I don't like this debate. I always see so much disrespect for uncharted 3 and it didn't deserve it. It might have not been as good as 2 but only by a fraction. Worshipping the second one and hating the third one just became a stupid trend and no one can ever explain why.
I'll definitely give 2 the top spot, followed by 3, then 1, then golden abyss. Anyone saying golden abyss was also better than 3 is trying way too hard to sound impressive.

Movefasta19933272d ago (Edited 3272d ago )

The 3rd one looked amazing but the game was boring. The start of it,your mashing punches for a good 5 mins, the whole london chapter was terrible.ANd then you're just jumping all over the world. The puzzles were bad.SPOILERS that sully death was done soo bad.The main villain was bad.The story was bad.It was off.Uc2 was an actiona dventure master piece, and to follow it up with that ...
It was as if all the talent in uc2 went ahead and worked on another game...another goty...

76erz243272d ago (Edited 3272d ago )

No I love Uncharted 3 for what it is, but it is a significant step down in quality from 2. While the characterizations of the main cast and the big set pieces are at there best in Drake's Deception, the story loses focus in the second half, squandering massive potential set up in the first 11 chapters. The game was built around the set pieces as opposed to the narrative, and the pacing is shot because of the story stalling pirate chapters 12-15. It's a great game with awesome action, interesting characters, and a fun story, but it doesn't match the pitch perfect execution and pacing of Among Thieves.

scark923272d ago

Am I wierd for prefering Uncharted 3?

Jaces3272d ago

No. While I still think 2 was better, 3 had some amazing set pieces. The Boat comes to mind and the fight in that cargo plane while it was falling apart to this day stands as one of my favorite from the UC series. I still get chills from Nate struggling to hold on to the cargo pallet and then opening the parachute, top notch. For me it's 4, 2, 3, 1, and then abyss (which I never finished, but hey, it's gotta go somewhere.)

Skankinruby3272d ago

Not at all, it was a great game. Even the general public agrees as well it had a 92 metacritic score and excellent feedback from customers on places like amazon. It's not until forums like this one pop up that all the idiots come out of hiding, but simply reading their comments shows how bad they're grasping at straws to make 3 look bad. Main reason I prefer 2 is I found the storytelling to be better. But they're both excellent games.
