Uncharted has taken players to some beautiful locales over the years.
The Last of Us is easily Naughty Dog's most popular IP, but Uncharted deserves as much praise if not more for being its guinea pig all the while.
...and here I was thinking it was Way of the Warrior. All the mo-cap they cut their teeth on to refine their skills later for such things like Uncharted and LoU.
As a fun little side project... I'd love to see them take a crack at Way of the Warrior 2.
Way of the Warrior was impressive looking on video game magazines. I remember wishing I could play it on the 3DO. So many years later I finally got to see the gameplay on the internet and it was complete trash 😂. Nothing like MK
Can’t it be that all of their games are their backbone? Who cares anyway as long as they make good games I’ll buy them.
I recently replayed them all and I used to think 2 was the best but now I'd definitely say 4 is the best. Not that there's much in it, they're all amazing. But 4 is the best.

Uncharted 2 had better pacing, Elena and Sully were featured far more, Nadine was an awful villain compared to Harry Flynn and it also had a fantastic multiplayer on top where Uncharted 4 ruined it making it into an over the top arcade shooter with gimmicks.
I liked the expansion to 4 more than 4 itself. 4 was great for me too, did alotta new stuff…

Nothing beats the unexpected twist at the end of 2.
I liked it when the games were fun and ridiculous, not the sooty TV-caliber dramas that use Uncharted as a foundation.
I like both types of games. The great thing about games is how diverse they can be and how I can pop in whatever fills my mood at any given time.
I agree. Uncharted 4 was the least fun. Preferred the simpler fun focussed older versions
Devin Rardin: Leaving the Uncharted series behind is a good move for Naughty Dog, allowing them to move forward and explore broader horizons.
Naughty Dog's Uncharted is dead. Not the franchise, the franchise is being worked on by another studio now. We never claimed that the franchise was dead.
I missed read but still lets just say its retired. You never know they might one day not in our lifetime go back to it.
Why would any company shelve a very successful franchise now especially the uncharted series that also had a successful film. Uncharted isn't gone

You should know better then to call something Dead. With all the feeling's around this Game.
Whoever makes Uncharted 5 will have great support from Sony's Visual Arts studio who helps with every Naughty Dog game so the IP will be fine indeed
It finished strong and didn't overstay it's welcome. ND needs to work on something else anyways. Just hopefully Drakes story is done. I would love a young sully though.
That’s ND’s MO, and I respect that. After the 6th gen, many were put out that Jak and Daxter was retired, but if ND kept focusing on that we likely wouldn’t have gotten Uncharted. I respect a company who knows when to end a series so they can focus on something new, and here’s hoping whatever they create next will be just as amazing.
November 19 marks 15 years since the release of the Uncharted game that started it all.
I hope they don’t make another until the end of the ps5 lifecycle…. Show us a better jungle
The treasure vault was always a big one for me. Probably because I got stuck in its maze-like structure for ages! lol
Some of the locations in Uncharted 2 are the most memorable in my life as a gamer.
The ice cave in uc2 with Tenzin is the best looking and my fav location.
