All they do is copy and past from their previous titles update their engine a tad bit package and sell. Hell they could even package a giant turd and name it Call Of Duty:Beyond Infinity and people will still buy it. Its sad quite frankly that people are less vocal about this type of bullshit. TBH nothing's changed, Dice reveals a graphically impressive trailer with 2 seconds of gameplay while COD shows impressive campaign footage but at least with COD the trailer has scenes form the actual game. Remember Star Wars? I hope people can lower their expectations for both games. COD will still sell better and offer more of your money's worth like usual but that's almost certain since it's the only way to get COD4. Though I'm glad both are taking huge risks with their settings this year.

I think much of the hate comes from making the remastered COD4 exclusive to the limited edition version of Infinite Warfare. Plus, now that Battlefield 1 has been announced people are picking sides and crapping on the other. As for Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1, I think it's awesome to see each franchise taking each end of the setting spectrum with distant future vs WW1. They could be different enough to warrant buying both.

He's kind of cocky about it because it's a guarantee that a CoD iteration (no matter who the studio behind it is) will sell a "bare minimum" of 26-28M copies across all platforms (PS3/X360/PS4/X1/PC) in it's lifetime. This has been the norm for quite a while now. Modern Warfare 1 started the trend of CoD's selling close to 20M copies with MW2, MW3 and BOII peaking CoD sales (ironically all not on PS4/X1).

25M sales for a CoD title across platforms is a "guarantee" that people have given this publisher. Unless people start putting their money where their mouth is, you'll see it hitting the same numbers this year too, despite of all the shitposts by these same people on forums and other places like N4G on the internet, they'd be the first ones to lineup day 0, at a GameStop midnight launch with their 60 bucks.

It's nothing wrong that you like CoD at all. But look at it's quality in recent years. Vote with your wallets people, we need change in the industry, at least do it for your/CoD's sake.
