Adventure visual novel The Miskatonic continues to see some delays but work continues and tester level backers might be getting something for the wait.
Serena Nelson writes: "Horror adventures are popular, and several have gone through crowdfunding, but some are still being developed. We look at five great unreleased titles."
Some promising games on the list, hopefully there isn't too much drama getting them finished.
Serena Nelson writes: "As the name suggests, our heroine starts working for the (in)famous university located in the fictional Lovecraft town of Arkham, Massachusetts. In addition to being quite quirky she's also a witch that worships the Goat With a Thousand Young, Shub-Niggurath. For the uninitiated she's a twisted fertility goddess. Anyway, just in the opening sequences that have been revealed we also are treated with several references to the famous author's works. And along with it plenty of dark comedy. Fans of the genre with a wicked sense of humor will love the story I believe."
Serena Nelson writes: "As far as I know this will be the only sneak peek to the public until the official demo. So, unless you backed at £20 for beta access or £30+ for alpha you're out of luck for the time being. Remember, there are a lot of missing features and no NPCs are in as of this build. And there are even placeholders for room exits. Also, it's a very short tech demo...more of a brief exploration piece."
I don't mind delays so long as the developer is update backers.
