Tom Clancy's The Division review: Dead end road - Clip Through

The Dark Zone is the mouth-watering, open-world player-versus-player meat of The Division. It was what got us all hyped three years ago. But it was empty.

It sounds like a complaint more than a review. Yes you can shot through car windows, be in shooting bits of the glass out or shoot from one pain of glass to the next and you see bullet holes go through to the next. The dark zone is not empty be it from AI or players. The dark zone has a lot of action going off once found. I stuck over 312 hours and.despite the exploits, glitches it's still a fun game. The division allowed me to do something that I felt has been lost since the 360. The need to socialise and make some new friends, apart from ark that is really the only game that I've found bringing that old 360 social vibe back. I also found myself going out of my way to get the full 1000/1000 gamerscore. Usually I don't bother going for collectables but with the division once I got stuck in I did them in about 4-5 hours, not bad.

Really though I do feel they need to release content sooner, it's not that it's getting boring it's just that the game needs new freshness and the time frame developers release dlc, never do meet a gamers play style ,especially when they destroy the game in no time. I've just gone back to ark for a while, while new content arrives.

Most of all though players have ruined the division for me, those that have exploited since day one I hope see a wipe or a ban. Remember just because it's there doesn't mean it has to be used, but people are cheats and they don't feel no shame when cheating other players knowing they could never be as good as the ones who whooped there butt.

I am in absolute agreement with the OP 👌

I hate when I see single player games and see people begging for multi-player. Jeez guys it don't need to be on every game. Latest one I seen was atomic heart.

Multiplayer or even co-op

If it was always a single player game then that's how it is

Inverno756d ago

It's a trend that never really went away. For me multiplayer in a primarily SP focused game was an excuse for DLC. Then there's the mentality gamers had that adding multiplayer makes a game worth the price, otherwise it should be half price for half a game. A way of thinking devs reassured when they started adding multiplayer to their sequels. We see the same with multiplayer focused games getting SP in their sequels.

Tbh multilayer now is a way to add live service and mtx elements, very rarely does it come of well.

What single players game used to be in a lot of cases now require 3 other people for keeping to really enjoy it and I hate having to rely on others to get the maximum from a game.

Sp should be sp, if devs want to add a separate multi mode then that's fine with me, the legends addition to ghost of tshushima was fricking sick but totally separate to the main game. Sick of co op too.

I remember when certain single player games had them as included optional modes that was played on the couch. Had brilliant times with Syphon Filter and Golden Eye. Me and my bro used to used to fight over who would play as Gabe even though it was technically just a skin. Good times.

I didn't notice your comment before I added mine.
But good times indeed
