Stephanie Smith writes: "This wasn’t just a quick cash grab hit and run. The backers were fully refunded for their pledges and there was a small update to say that the project was cancelled. We were all mystified, the game was supposedly nearly finished so what could bring it to such an abrupt halt. Perhaps juggling family life and game development proved too much for the developer. Either way, since the pledges were returned there wasn’t an especially big brouhaha and it just seemed to disappear... Until it was suddenly released."
