"Speaking to the Guardian in early 2015, Hidetaka Miyazaki said he’d always felt an affinity towards Ico. Reading this, and it all begins to make sense to me. The isolation, the gothic landscapes, the uncanniness found in Dark Souls III, or really any game he’s made, including Bloodborne. Even the sparse use of narrative and storytelling is largely used from the realms of a game like Ico, and its celebrated successor, Shadow of the Colossus. I’m not going to pretend to enjoy a game like Dark Souls III, but I can appreciate its artistic design, and the ambition of Miyazaki."
The creator of the 60 fps patch for Bloodborne has been hit with a DMCA notice from publisher Sony after 3 years.
People will read this and assume "must be a bloodborne remake coming".
Unfortunately, more likely theyre just being d***s
A prominent former PlayStation executive has discussed the future of Bloodborne, stating that everyone is likely waiting on Miyazaki.
This has been stated many times. Everyone keeps blaming Sony but it is in fact up to when Miyazaki is 'Not Busy'.
Sony Interactive Entertainment's titles Bloodborne and The Last Guardian are now playable on the Steam Deck via emulation.
I'm cursed to love the aesthetics, but just plain suck at the game!!
The art books will have to do for me! :(
The game not only looks beautiful but plays also beautifully once you get a grip of the nearly perfectly handled learning curve.
When I first started playing Demon's Souls I was one of those that played for about 2 hours and then made my way to the nearest forum to whine about the difficulty, obviously met by a barrage of the usual posts like "git gud" and "cry more" and "you're not the one giving up on Demon's Souls. Demon's Souls is giving up on you".
It wasn't until Bloodborne that it finally clicked. They sure are punishing at first but once you get into the swing of the combat and timing they really are not that hard, and you soon discover that these kinds of games are far more rewarding than all the press A to awesome games.
Dark Souls 3 is still hard, but I find it more fun than any of the previous games, including Bloodborne. Never played Demon Souls.
For me this is turning out to be my favorite souls game edging out my long time favorite souls1.
Once again I find myself not being able to stop playing, staying up late losing sleep thinking about the last bastard that took my souls stash while iam at work, and plotting revenge, and wondering about all kinds of things I came across in the game so far. Every death literally as always is a dumb mistake a pitiful judgement call etc that drives me toward redemption and ultimate victory.
Just loving how it feels like an extended version of bloodborne as well. Awesome scenery and unbelievable fights. I've died a great deal of times and have not even got to unsettled village yet.
But there's no denying iam getting stronger and better with each resurrection.
One thing really has me upset though bordering on wanting to start all over and I know it's stupid but the curiosity is killing me. Below the fire breathing dragon is a room with a mimic treasure chest that iam sure must have had something cool I bumped into him only one and we fought for a long time as I really have no weapon that is strong enough to take him down quickly so at some point in the fight he just disappeared after almost killing him just a few more hits bam he vanished. I was pissed I was like nooooooooooo!!!! Come back dam you!! I looked around I restarted the level nothing gone forever leaving me wondering what treasure I could've had that the dam thing took with it when it vanished from the fight.
Did anyone else see it? Or fight it? If so can you tell me what he gives if you win? I feel like I really messed up here and maybe lost a valuable edge I could've had.
