It depends more on the easy availability than the price. VR is nicely shaping up to be a must have gadget for a lot of peopleand even if you have the money, it is still right now very hard to get your hands on a high-end VR device if you did not Pre-Order.

I agree with the price point. Sony should have priced the unit at $299 -$349.
