If anything, I question those high review score. .

those high scores are starting to lose their worth as they're been thrown about easily these days.

7 seems like the ideal rating for this entry. Between 7 & 8. I feel the same about Bloodborne too.

Bloodborne was not 8 its a clear 9-9,5 but DS3 repeats the same atmosphere and a 7-8 score is partially fair

Dark Souls is a MULTIPLAT series with a reputation as one of gaming's most challenging experiences... it's not gonna appeal to everyone.

This review notes it's technical issues (that FromSoft engine still can't hold 30fps on consoles) as well as it's 'unsurprising' gameplay... and since when is 7 a bad score?

Just admit that you can't stand the thought of Quantum Break scoring higher than... anything.

It's easy to see a review site who got their funding support by Microsoft themselves are going to have a bias against the competition. It was too obvious when they gave a game like the The Last Of Us a 7/10. An 8 is understandable but definitely lost their credibility when they gave it a 7 for obvious hits. For them to give a higher score to Quantum Break would just indicate them appeasing to Microsoft games.

According to Metacritic, Polygon's reviews are on-average 1.4 points (out of 100) lower than the actual metascore... that's not bad.

Why are you guys getting upset over a number? I am starting to believe N4G users care about ratings than actually playing the game and enjoy it for themselves.

I am super hype for DSIII and a site can give this game a 1/10 for all I care and I won't bat an eye.
