IGN GC 2008: Hasbro Family Game Night Hands-on

IGN writes: "Not so long ago Electronic Arts announced a licensing partnership with Hasbro to bring familiar, popular board games to the casual market across all gaming platforms. At Games Convention EA had on display one of the first Wii titles to benefit from this corporate buddying-up: Hasbro Family Game Night.

This Wii title — and subsequent port to the PS2 — is pretty much exactly what it sounds like: recreations of classic board games. Sorry, Battleship, Connect Four, Boggle, Yahtzee, and a new game hitting stores this Fall (or as of this writing), Sorry Sliders. These classic games are built using the point-and-click aspect of the Wii remote for navigation, and, in some cases, the motion control for when you want to shake up the Boggle cube or roll some Yahtzee dice."
