59 Fallout 4 Mods We Want for PS4 & Xbox One

While people wait for Bethesda to release its official Fallout 4 mod tool, developers continue to release impressive PC mods.

Think they said it begins April on Xbox One and May on PS4, but they weren't completely sure on the timescale so it probably will be delayed. Also providing the tools for people to make their own tools on console (I think, may just be imagining that).

They made it seem like an Xbox-only thing on consoles when announced at E3.

people really t5hink that Bethesda will allow all of these mods...no. they have 100% control over what mods go to consoles. and i promise the light saber due to copy rights and the naked mod wont see the light of day on consoles...don't see the need for naked mods in any game to begin with ...

Wouldn't the console makers have 100% control as to what does and does not appear on their console?

Yeah but do you have 100% control on what appears? If you go on any game on console, can you do anything to access the game files? If you cant then you do not have full control. Most PC game mods are user made, and you download the file and insert it into the games folders manually. Few games I have played have an actual mod control system within the games menu.

I dont see many of those being possible on consoles.. They slow down some high end rigs better yet a console.

Get rid of the settlement restrictions, both settlers and size. I want 100 people in my skybound-Greygarden. The game must be able to handle acceptable an framerate with a little extra on PS4, no?

Hmm, I do not know about that. They made the settlement size restriction for a reason. When I have played it on my PC and went over the limit with a mod I would notice a drop in performance whenever I was inside of my settlement.

You can override it by taking tons of mentats. I had 50-something followers at one point and there was no frame dip. The settler numbers went back down over time time.

Oh, I meant that in regards to the size of the settlement. I have no experience with large numbers of settlers, but that is interesting, something I will have to try.

There's a very simple way to get rid of the limitation on the physical size of your settlements. Basically, as you kill off baddies, always grab their gun(s) - guns seem to have the most components, which makes this trick work better. At your settlement, simply drop all the guns to the ground, go into edit mode, and scrap 'em. With each item you scrap in your settlement, you will see the size gauge go down a tiny bit - do enough scrapping, and you can even get the size gauge down to zero. I have a huge settlement at Starlight Drive in with over 40 settlers, multiple buildings, etc. etc. - and the size is zero!

For settlement builders "place in red" is indispensable.

What do you mean by indispensable there? I agree you should be able to override/remove prohibition of placement (when items turn red and aren't allowed to be placed), but I'm not sure if you meant something else?
