SuperPhillip Central | Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (3DS) Review

Phil writes, "The Rio 2016 Olympic Games occur this summer, but Nintendo and Sega are already cashing in on the competition fun with Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the first of two Rio 2016 Olympic titles featuring Nintendo's and Sega's all-star mascots. The last handheld Mario & Sonic game failed to be that enthralling with a modest amount of content and some frustrating controls. However, with Rio 2016, Sega is back on the right foot, out of the showers, and ready to compete."

Underrated Games With Even More Underrated Soundtracks - Part Seven

Phil writes, "If you've been around SuperPhillip Central for a while now, you're probably well aware that I have a strange fixation on underrated/overlooked gems when it regards video games. Couple that with my love for video game soundtracks, and you have the impetus for why I came up with this series of articles, now at its seventh part. On this edition, we're taking a look and listen to games like ARMS, Sonic Forces, Everybody's Golf, and more!"

Sega you f***** up huge you had so many insanely loyal fans that you got it when you killed the Dreamcast and then your games just went to total s***it's so unfortunate I still have a Genesis and a Dreamcast tucked under my TV next to the PS4 and Xbox One. You were my number one Saga and there's a lot of guys like me that would have bought any system you launched. It took me awhile but I fully realize now that the Sega of my youth the Sega that I love died with the Dreamcast there's none of you left.

Razzer2530d ago

Wow. Still mad about all that? That is one hell of a grudge.

Xb1 2013 reveal bro my grudge

Death2529d ago

@Xi,

The difference is you are upset over a false perception. Sega simply ran out of money and couldn't exist as a platform holder.

XiNatsuDragnel2529d ago

@Death

A lot of people got pissed off with that DRM BS

3-4-52528d ago

Yea chill dude...Sega doesn't owe you anything.

Please sega don't stray from the gaming ninja way

V0LT2529d ago

Sega is not the same company we all knew in the 90's or early 2000's.

TheVetOfGaming2529d ago

Gaming in general isn't the same.

XbladeTeddy2529d ago

They rely on Sonic Bollocks too much. Instead of innovating they just make more Sonic and his furry friends crap.

SuperPhillip Central | Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (Wii U) Review

Phil writes, "Every two years since 2008, the all-star rosters of the Mario and Sonic franchises have come together to participate in the Olympics, whether it's the summer or the winter. Many of these games have essences of fun in the package, but overall critics find they don't quite nail what they were shooting for. As a fan of most of Mario and Sonic's Olympic outings, I entered Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games on the Wii U with an open mind. The overall game ended up being one of my favorites in the series, but not without some glaring faults."
