I thought the same thing. Haven't completed the dlc yet. Wanted to do that before ds3 releases. Too bad I lost all my save data (long story). I was on my second playthrough and at the Ludwig boss. I have no desire to go through all that again.

Ludwig was too much, he could one shot with just one jump. Glad that I was able to complete everything though.

isn't Ludwig an optional boss? i never met him during my voyage.

He is the first boss you face in the DLC. I don't think there was a way to skip him as he blocks an area for you to progress through the the game.

He is in The Old Hunters DLC, and I believe that you have to beat him to proceed.

Yeah, he transformed and destroyed me with one shot. I was in the process of defeating him but a couple of days later I had issues with my PS4 and lost all the Bloodborne save data. When I checked my cloud saves the only one there was for a brand new game. I was furious. I'll get back to it someday in the distant future I suppose.

I was way to overpowered for the The Old Hunters DLC when I played it. I always leave Bloodborne where the house in Hunters Dream is burning and basically all you have to do is fight the final boss. I don't fight the boss, and now I have the whole game at my disposal. Any area in the game is always open and if I want to help someone else I can.

Anyways, I got to the point where I was telling you before, my character level was around 70-80, I'm like this is the perfect time for the DLC area. Instead of starting this area though, I started the Chalice Dungeons instead. After a while I finally finished every Dungeon and I even found a Blood Rock in one of the Depth Five Dungeons. By the time I was done with all the Chalice Dungeons though, my character level was 204.

Now, I start to do The Old Hunters DLC, which was very good by the way. My character was way overpowered. All enemies were a bit underpowered and the bosses.......beat them all on the first try.

It just didn't feel right beating that area so easily. Bloodborne was my first From Software game and lets just say the first four days the game was out, I was stuck at the same Lampost in Central Yharnam, yeah, four days. LOL. Needless to say I cought on real quick after that.

But if anyone needs to build a character in Bloodborne quick, those Depth Five Chalice Dungeons are the way to go. On some, if you completed a Depth Five Dungeon, there worth about a little over 1,000,000 blood echoes. The Runes I run with are Anti-Clockwise Metamorphosis - Boosts Max Stamina +20%, Clockwise Metamorphosis - Boosts Max HP +15%, Moon - More echoes from slain enemies +30%.

Anyways, my copy of Dark Souls for Xbox 360 should be arriving Friday, that I will use with B.C. on X1. My copy of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin for PS4 should arrive at the same time as well. I also went ahead and got both Hardcover strategy guides for Dark Souls and Dark Souls II while I was at it. I also am getting Dark Souls III for PS4 with the Hardcover strategy guide at release. But will not play it until I beat and fully finish the first two. I was just basically waiting to get a remaster or B.C. edition for Dark Souls and now its on the B.C. list. I would much rather see a Remaster, but I will take B.C.

Anyone for a Demon Souls remaster? I don't have a PS3 so yeah, I'm waiting for something on that. Lord knows I'm never going to see B.C. on PS4.
