Dark Souls 3 review-in-progress: so far it's everything we want it to be - PCGamesN

"It feels almost passé to start my impressions of the first few hours of Dark Souls III, which I’m fighting my way through for our review, by writing about how I got my now red raw arse handed to me by the game’s very first boss."

Game's gonna be glorious on pc, that 60fps baby!

Not letting myself buy this until I manage to complete Bloodborne!

nowitzki20043384d ago (Edited 3384d ago )

You can get DS3 for $5 then as well. /s maybe

philm873384d ago

That's the way it's looking! The Unseen Village is holding up my progress severely.

bangoskank3384d ago (Edited 3384d ago )

I thought the same thing. Haven't completed the dlc yet. Wanted to do that before ds3 releases. Too bad I lost all my save data (long story). I was on my second playthrough and at the Ludwig boss. I have no desire to go through all that again.

mocaak3384d ago

Ludwig was too much, he could one shot with just one jump. Glad that I was able to complete everything though.

nix3384d ago

isn't Ludwig an optional boss? i never met him during my voyage.

Omar913384d ago

@nix

He is the first boss you face in the DLC. I don't think there was a way to skip him as he blocks an area for you to progress through the the game.

mocaak3384d ago

@nix

He is in The Old Hunters DLC, and I believe that you have to beat him to proceed.

bangoskank3384d ago

Yeah, he transformed and destroyed me with one shot. I was in the process of defeating him but a couple of days later I had issues with my PS4 and lost all the Bloodborne save data. When I checked my cloud saves the only one there was for a brand new game. I was furious. I'll get back to it someday in the distant future I suppose.

I used the Jungle Beat Bongos from my Gamecube

I just made my character look like Chuck Norris.

All the bosses are only from Dark Souls. No Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring, or Demon Souls

Review: Mastering Dark Souls 3 Is A Monumental Achievement - Gamescordia

Dark Souls 3 is easily the most replayable game in the Dark Souls Series. But, is the game good enough to spend nearly 10 hours killing Silver Knights alone?

These games bore me to tears. I don’t mind the difficulty it’s just the constant killing the same enemies over every time you rest that makes it so monotonous

jznrpg589d ago

You open up a lot of shortcuts so you can skip many enemies. But if I don’t like games I don’t buy them.
