Well I've spent a little under an hour with the PSP port of Yggdra Union, so I felt I should go ahead and give some early first impressions.
Right off the bat, it should be noted that this is in fact, a port of a GBA game, and like last years GBA port, Rivera: The Promised Land, the improvements are immediately noticeable and pretty significant. Now I'm not going to compare this to the original version, since it wouldn't be fair. After all, GBA is pretty old at this point, and isn't close to matching the PSPs hardware. However, the PSP port of this game is my preferred version.

Agreed. 20 bucks can score you a few hundred hours of excellent gameplay with this deal.
If you're new to the series I'd start with Persona 2: Innocent Sin as it's a lot more polished and enjoyable than the original.

their sale came too late, i already bought 6-7 games that went on sale in the past 2 weeks, i would have bought some of their games over these, but now im stocked up. ill buy them later but :((((((

And let me make this clear. The consoles are not doing well in japan. THATS WHY THEY ARENT COMING OUT IN BULK for the consoles.
BUT considering there place theirs more japanese rpgs on them than any system in history
