BioShock PS3 - Leipzig Trailer

Matt Banks from LootNinja writes: 2K released a new trailer for BioShock for the PS3 at Games Convention over in Leipzig. Nothing earth shattering or stuff we haven't seen. What bothers me is the framerate. Yes, it's just a trailer. But even the Xbox 360 trailers ran a nice normal framerate. Is 2K having issues getting the game up to speed on the PS3? Or did the video just encode bad? I'm hoping for the latter. October is coming up quick, so we'll know sooner than later.

Looks better on PS3 in my eyes

Lost_My_600_Dollar5873d ago (Edited 5873d ago )

I can see a framerate problem with the PS3 version , the xbox360 copy ran smooth with no problem at all

definitely, a good addition to the PS3 library

Really there is framerate issues? Well I like to think I have good eye sight. It looked great to me.

Edit:
I watched the HD trailer.

themyk5872d ago

lets wait to see it actually running on the ps3 to see "framerate problems" don't watch a video over the interweb.

beavis4play5873d ago

everything looked really smooth and natural. i did see a couple of framrate hiccups(brought up by site) but were minor. and since this is a trailer i don't think it'll be a big deal.

nos4speed5873d ago

Probably good but ive got way to many other games to buy, loving the line up!

THE TERMINATOR5873d ago

I didnt notice any framerate problems

Captain Tuttle5873d ago

I saw a couple in the opening sequence, when you get your first glimpse of Rapture.
The rest looked fine though.

AngryXbot5873d ago

Hahaha, how does it feel to lose the 360s GOTY 2007?

Hahaha

Captain Tuttle5873d ago

Bubble for making me laugh this morning.

shazam5872d ago

you can never tell for sure if the framerate had a hiccup due to the game or due to your computer playing the video.

I'm so happy this one is coming to PS3 so I will get to play it. I was thinking about buying it for the computer, but now i wont have to! I can already tell this one is a twisted, artistic gem.

It's 10 years too late for a BioShock film. The world of Rapture would have been perfect for a film. It's actually a good candidate for proper utilization of 3D, for increased depth rather than bullshit popping out of the screen. It could really show off the underwater city that way. But BioShock as a brand is so irrelevant these days that a film just doesn't make sense. Especially considering it would need a big budget and top notch effects to really take advantage of the IP.

gold_drake57d ago

i agree on the bigger budget. all the cgi they'd need for the background.

but i think it would work better as a show. a movie would be too short to establish the story

TheNamelessOne57d ago

Netflix greenlights anything, so that shows me very little faith in the project. Enough to just crap something out as they're, more and more, known to do.

badkolo56d ago

its where b movies go to live, its run by democrats , dont expect anything good from netflix

Knightofelemia57d ago (Edited 57d ago )

I'll laugh if it turns out to be better then the Borderlands movie
