When I tried this game I felt like if they had just went with more gravity rush style controls it might have been alright. What they tried to do seemed similar to me but they failed pretty hard.

Nah what they really tried was trying to blend Sonic and Nights.

After trying both the Wii and Wii U versions I can see how there was a decent game in there. They really should have just given the Wiimote controls to the Wii U version and called it. Not every game has to use the pad.

Wii version is pretty fun. Wii U version is pretty awful. Wii U version is a port of the 3DS version,a port Prope never wanted. Kadokawa made a port themselves and a terrible one on 3DS,then ported the 3DS version to Wii U. The colors are washed out,the mechanics have changed and not just talking controls. I wish every copy came with the Wii version as it's a fun enjoyable game.
