MercurySteam have revealed that it has renewed its relationship with former Konami Head of Studio and Producer of the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow series Dave Cox who is now confirmed to be working with the studio once again on a new unannounced project.
"There's no other game that's doing 4v1 as we're doing it, and as far as I know it's the only PvP and PvE shooter that's mission-based and narrative-driven," Alvarez told MCV at Gamescom. "Evolve is a completely different proposal. It's pure gameplay. It's about game modes, not missions. Raiders of the Broken Planet is all about the missions, and as you progress through each mission, the story develops and you have proper character development. If you like Serenity, Firefly, Magnificent Seven or Seven Samurai, this is the game."
"I do think games have become too expensive," Cox told MCV at this year's Gamescom. "£60 is a lot of money for a game. I have disposable income and spend money on games, but now I have to think twice about what I buy every year."
That's total BS; if anything games are underpriced compared to how much they cost to make. He just sounds bitter about spending money on games.
Unless and until you are someone who loves performance analysis.
All this bickering and nit picking every little detail between games on the X1X and PS4 Pro...
We can all just cut to the chase and state it like we already know, most multi-platform games will run better on
Xbox One X. The dev MercurySteam knows it just like most of the people in this thread know.
Just one more thing to cry about this fall, OK now fall in line with those disagrees and prove my point.
This will be the trend going forward. The differences between 720-900p vs 1080p were much easier to detect than 4k checkerboard vs native 4k. Unless you have really good vision and or are standing close to the tv. Thank goodness for digital foundry and their microscope when its dick measuring time 😳
Hey Contra.
Castlevania Lords of Shadow 3
Enric Alvarez will destroy this game, as he did with Lords of Shadow 2.
