Though Yahoo's game platform has long been in decline, the fact that it's finally closing is notable in light of the historic role it played in popularizing free-to-play online games. Built atop Yahoo's '97 acquisition of the ClassicGames online game portal, Yahoo Games served as a platform for many budding casual game developers."
VRFocus - The Tokyo Game Show (TGS) isn't the only event in Japan that you can expect to find the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head mounted display (HMD) at the moment. Ad:Tech Tokyo is another technology-based event that looks at the future of advertising. As you might imagine Oculus VR's HMD is featuring heavily as this year's show given its massive potential for advertising. One of the more curious exhibits is a new VR roller coaster for search engine website Yahoo.
