Someone should really check the health and safety regulations for such dangerous weapons but nevertheless, developers Zenith Blue have decided to equip these teenagers with swords in Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae - a frantic arena fighting game."
WTMG's Leo Faria: "I thought Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae was going to be yet another abysmal port of a random mobile game, and while I was glad I was wrong, this is not exactly a very fun or engaging game. It's just a very shallow hack and slash game with some decent controls and gameplay, and nothing else."
This Friday Limited Run Games is adding three new games to their library, Astebreed, Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae, and Pang Adventures.
High school girls + Japanese swords! Enter the arena, take on a swarm of enemies and leave none standing in this action-fuelled indie game. Collect skill points to upgrade your techniques and confront even greater foes.
Certainly a game that needed polishing and fleshing out rather than receiving a straight port.
I'll still buy it and play it to judge for myself but of course at a sale price.
