In this mini-series from Telltale Games it starts the players in somewhat unknown territory in their The Walking Dead adaptations. Unlike season one’s Lee Everett and season two’s Clementine, the players assume the role of an already established and incredibly popular character with the samurai wielding badass that is Michonne.

Michonne is one of the more interesting characters to grace The Walking Dead and no, not just because she’s the chick with the sword. Her back story is one of personal tragedy and the first episode of Telltale’s latest miniseries shows us this in much more detail. As with the first two game seasons, The Walking Dead: Michonne takes place within the confines of the graphic novel’s universe rather than that of the TV show. Specifically taking place between issues 126 and 139 during which our titular character leaves Rick Grimes and his group.
Sirus Gaming: Ultimately, the first two episodes of the series was a really great ride for me. Only one more episode to go, and that’s another great game on my “things to recommend to other people to play because it’s gold and is just simply great”.
