5 (More) Characters to Add to MvC 4

Liam from The Game Bolt: "Last year, as one of the first feature pieces to debut on The Game Bolt, I wrote about five characters I would love to see in Marvel Vs. Capcom 4. While the next iteration in Marvel and Capcom’s crazy fighting game bonanza may never see the light of day, I thought it would be fun to continue the speculation."

As if Disney would license Marvel to work with Capcom.

Marvel's history in the gaming industry was great when they were an independent company.

As for Capcom, I hope they find another publisher to put their properties in another Vs. title.

This isn't out of the question. Disney worked with many studios to make licensed games back in the day, including Capcom for some of their best, they've worked with Square on Kingdom Hearts, and they even tried and mostly failed at making their own games, until Disney Infinity made some serious bank.

So, the framework's there for Disney to license out Marvel characters for a MvsC4. It would involve a more expensive contract, for sure, but Disney is seeing the writing on the wall and knows they need something to rejuvenate interest in superhero movies, as we're currently approaching oversaturation. They might have as much of an interest in it as Capcom does, if not more so, making negotiations a little easier.

Honestly, I was hoping Disney would buy Capcom back when they were squandering for cash a few years back. At least Disney would go "You know, if you made another Megaman game, people would buy it, so do that." Then you'd have Marvel and Capcom under one roof, and the possibility for a really freaking weird movie adaptation of MvsC, or an actual Megaman animated movie.

Disney didn't have a publishing arm in the gaming industry during the 3rd and 4th generation. That's why they had to outsource to other developers.

Kingdom Hearts is a collaboration exception, not the rule. You're never going to see Disney properties crossover with other gaming publishers.

Idk what Disney Infinity has to do with anything since they made that game themselves. We haven't seen them make much major AAA Marvel based games on consoles in a long time, so Marvel vs Capcom 4 is out of the question. If it wasn't then Disney would've allowed for Capcom to continue distributing the MvC games on digital stores and at retail.

Also Disney buying Capcom would be a horrible idea.
