Furyu finally released the first full trailer of the PS Vita exclusive JRPG Caligula, the story of which is by Persona and Persona 2 writer Tadashi Satomi.
Caligula effect is a turn based RPG with a mild dash of tactical elements thrown in for good measure. Developed by Aquire and published during may 2017 by Atlus USA in both North America and Europe. It was written by Tadashi Satomi, who worked on the first 3 Persona titles, and directed by Takuya Yamanaka …
Lots of new games will be coming in 2017 to the PS Vita. I Play PS Vita has picked their top 20 upcoming PS Vita games they are most looking forward to in 2017.
I really wish the Vita, or a Vita 2 had access to Google Play, or if Sony somehow was able to entice devs to create free or cheap apps for the PS Store. This, coupled with Now and Vue would make their mobile device a highly demanded product, and most importantly, it would not longer rely on Sony's constant support for success. If Sony sponsored an official app for playing console games in any WiFi connection, it would be huge and become a must buy for all PS4 owners, as well as mobile game lovers!
My most anticipated on Vita right now are Danganronpa V3, Mary Skelter Nightmares, Tokyo Xanadu, Sharin No Kuni and Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy. :)
It's funny how tons of pillocks think games have stopped being released for it. #NoGamez #VitaIsDead and yet my backlog keeps growing. XD
Valkyria Revolution is right up my alley even though they changed the combat mechanics.
FuRyu posted a new video for their RPG Caligula, available now on the PlayStation Vita in Japan and headed West Spring 2017.
You can watch the video below, the gameplay starts around 7:40.
Beautiful soundtrack. This looks like Persona. Glad Vita is getting some love.
In true Shin Megami Tensei Style, the protagonist appears to be nameless which is good. It looks great was hoping for something to be a bit darker in design. Here's hoping the story delivers in the M-rated twisted department.
Ill be picking this up but I guess Team Maniax is will be the only studio delivering JRPGs more to my liking.
the story.. something about everyone's idol trying to grant wishes, with some negative effect that prompts (main cast?) saying they might be forced to kill her even if she's only trying to grant their wishes. i think the negative effect is her trapping their souls in her world or something in exchange for granting their wishes(?)
