Full priced game means full priced effort. Tweaking and adding a fresh coat of paint is a disgrace. I'll get it in a couple years when it's dirt cheap.

GreetingsfromCanada3375d ago

Like bruh, you can't even tell when you look at it.

RiPPn3374d ago (Edited 3374d ago )

Personally enjoyed Primal, couldn't care less about what shortcuts they took to get to the final product..

suli123453374d ago

Anyone who doesn't buy this game is really really really really really missing out BIG time!

starrman19853374d ago

Really? Really!? I've got it, its fun.. but it's just like their last two games but with less weapons and more animals!

Not denying that it's worth getting (if you can find it cheap, please don't pay £40+) but you really aren't missing out that much!

Spyroo3374d ago

I played far cry 4 then this... Primal isn't that great, I'll wait for proper apocolptic games like this

Fez3374d ago (Edited 3374d ago )

I don't know why I'd buy 4 or Primal tbh... I played and enjoyed 3 but these two games seem to be indistinguishable at face value. I'm definitely going to play Blood Dragon and if 4 or Primal comes to PS+ I'll play them but I don't see the value in buying either game for more than £5-10 - too similar to Far Cry 3.

It's actually annoying when a series finds a formula that financially works for them, because then we stop seeing changes and innovation. Or rather, it's annoying when publisher control outweighs developer freedom. At least, wait 3-4 years before releasing the same style of game again.

kaizokuspy3374d ago

I can't even tell looking at it. I mean, if I had to create multiple games that take place outside chances are I'd use a lot of the same imager; trees, rocks, landscapes. How many forests did Bob ross paint?

InUrFoxHole30d ago

Seriously, it's great to see devs add things to older games.

OhReginald31d ago

Sony....you're really letting ubisoft out of all all companies to out class you??? Give us the bloondborne 60 fps patch....ffs

dantesparda31d ago

I second this (Bloodborne 60fps) plus damn, Ubisoft, you're doing great but now the last thing I want youi to do is mae Far Cry Primal 60fps and AC Unity

Profchaos30d ago

Everytime someone asks for a bloodborne patch it gets delayed 1 day.

I_am_Batman30d ago

They know it's gonna cost them sales of the inevitable Remake that'll probably come around the PS6 launch.

raWfodog31d ago

Good news for when, or If, I ever play it. It’s waaay down on my backlog list lol.

P_Bomb30d ago

I like these 60fps patches. Hoping they’ll do Ghost Recon Wildlands someday.

Yi-Long30d ago

Kudos to Ubisoft for once again going back to older titles and then offering a nice upgrade for free. I know the company gets a lot of criticism, in quite a few cases understandable and justified, but in this area of contintued post-launch support for their SP games, they deserve some credit.

You can murder, mame, and viciously attack people, but anything that deals with showing a body in a natural state whether for titillation or narrative, is some truly terrible thing. We are so weird with our puritan thought process. Feed our bloodlust and fuel our enjoyment for entertainment of simulating acts of harm and murder, but god forbid you see digitized TnA. It will never make sense to me.

Rebel_Scum55d ago

tbh even if they did remove it, it doesnt matter. I dont even remember when there was nudity in the game. If it was there it was so inconsequential.

B5R54d ago

Agreed. It absolutely makes no sense

Also, even though Ubisoft reverted the changes that removed nudity, there's the bigger issue of developers being able to make large changes to the game you paid for whenever they want.

Kassanova0754d ago (Edited 54d ago )

Stellar Blade comes to mind. This is why buying physical is the way to go.
