IGN: GC 2008: Bomberman Returns to DS
One of the "surprise" games on the show floor at Games Convention was in Konami’s booth: Bomberman II. It’s a throwback to the days when Bomberman was originally a solo experience on the Nintendo Entertainment System.
The game at the show was an extremely short demo of only a single level lasting barely a couple of minutes. In this demo, you worked your way across Bomberman arenas of bricks and indestructible walls, planting bombs to destroy the bricks to move deeper in the arena. Scattered in the area are guards patrolling, sometimes on the alert but sometimes taking a nap.
