Miyazaki is a god. I'll take more of the same from him anyday because his games are top quality and challenging. Xbox owners are in for a treat because they missed bloodborne. Dark 3 is a combo of both. More delicious death for PS4 players. Anything to wash the stank of dark 2 off us.

Yep. I couldn't read the article but was he referring to Bloodborne as the masterpiece? Couldn't have been talking about DS2. Don't get me wrong, I'd take any DS over most other games.

And yeah, this is Miyazaki. Hes done DemS, DS and BB. I think DS3 will be fine.

Ive never even heard hardcore DS2 fans call it a masterpiece. Everyone generally considers it to be ok but not in the same league as Demon's, DS1 and BB.

I also love Miyazaki's style. If I could, I would play his awesome games forever and I really hope that he keeps bringing all this unique atmosphere to the game marketing.

For those who are tired of the "Souls" style, simple: instead of complaining, just find another game to play, let us "Souls addicteds" continue to die relentlessly!

You're starting to feel tired of playing so many souls games from the same company that all share the same design and gameplay principles since Demon souls released.

While the game might be good at the end you can't help but feel that it feels too much like the four games that came before it especially since Bloodborne came out last year and Scholar of the First Sin came out two years ago.

I knew when to stop..

I took a break since Demon's Souls. I skipped Dark 1 & 2.. I'm playing Bloodborne now, and I'm thinking of getting Dark 3.

No franchise fatigue for me.

I knew the series would be milked..
When Dark souls was announced.

They know when to stop too. From Software doesn't want it to be milked.

I certainly hope it's very similar, since these games aren't very similar to anything else.

All the bosses are only from Dark Souls. No Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring, or Demon Souls

These games bore me to tears. I don’t mind the difficulty it’s just the constant killing the same enemies over every time you rest that makes it so monotonous

jznrpg576d ago

You open up a lot of shortcuts so you can skip many enemies. But if I don’t like games I don’t buy them.
