WCCFt: As the first episode of a new series, In Too Deep is a very strong start. The gameplay formula isn't any different from past The Walking Dead games, sure, but Michonne is a great character and the story has the potential to be very good. Unfortunately, the first episode has no real story payoff, due to how the whole series is structured, so it will be Episode 2 and 3 that will make The Walking Dead Michonne great, or just another adventure game based on a popular franchise.

Michonne is one of the more interesting characters to grace The Walking Dead and no, not just because she’s the chick with the sword. Her back story is one of personal tragedy and the first episode of Telltale’s latest miniseries shows us this in much more detail. As with the first two game seasons, The Walking Dead: Michonne takes place within the confines of the graphic novel’s universe rather than that of the TV show. Specifically taking place between issues 126 and 139 during which our titular character leaves Rick Grimes and his group.
Sirus Gaming: Ultimately, the first two episodes of the series was a really great ride for me. Only one more episode to go, and that’s another great game on my “things to recommend to other people to play because it’s gold and is just simply great”.
