“No Man's Sky continues to satisfy my curiosity with its snippets of information. It’s set to be a game that combines all of my favourite things, exploration, destroying indigenous populations, and free market, laissez-faire capitalism. Of course, my buddy just reminded me not to get too excited, claiming, “You’ll be disappointed if you jump on the hype train.” And he’s right, for the most part.”
Orbital update drops today, also bringing with it engine improvements and UI refresh.
If you're looking for 'must have' PSVR 2 games then look no further. These are the 10 titles every PSVR 2 owner should have in their library.
If you're wanting more PSVR 2 support, you should probably buy all of these games.
Speak with your wallet!
I'm trying to decide if it's worth holding onto my psvr 2. I enjoy what it has currently, but it seems unlikely to get anything else. Might be better off just waiting for something with more support if that ever comes.
GT7 surprised me, because I hate racing games, but i poured 100 hours into it way too quickly.
I’m looking forward to the Metro VR game this year, and I hope that WW2 dogfighter game releases eventually.
I have most of them 😅
Waiting for a sale on Synapse and Arizona Sunshine 2.....also Metro coming this year looks great.
Aspyr Media Inc allegedly used a fan-made PC mod to add previously Xbox exclusive content to Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection.
Aspyr if we sell hotcakes get that code from radical or something and create battlefield 3 please
I thought that was kind of obvious they were incorporating mods to piece this game together. Maybe not, but that's made me worried about one thing:
They also planned on adding the modded ending to KOTOR 2 but were legally blocked from doing so, even after they advertised that to help sell preorders for the game on Switch. Could the same happen with this? Any opponents have 3 weeks to bring down the hammer.
I think part of the problem like you said is that lot's of people build themselves up about a game that everyone is saying is great. What it comes down to is personal opinion, I might be really looking forward to a game because I know I will enjoy playing it but others might only be excited because everyone else is.
As the industry continues to expand, games become more commercial and less innovative. There's nothing wrong with hype, it's just a shame when gamers are continually let down by corporate decisions behind the scenes. I'm still hopeful for the Last Guardian :)
Hype is always a good thing, but it should never be blown out of proportion to the point that it ends up hurting a new release (fingers crossed that's not the case with Uncharted 4!)
