An honest look at the HTC Vive showing some gameplay and demos of the Virtual Reality head mounted display.
Viveport, the VR retail platform from HTC is now giving developers 90% of their game revenue, instead of a 70/30 spilt like Steam.
It could be free and it wouldn't matter at this point. There isn't really a PCVR Market and I say that as a PCVR user. It is modders and enthusiasts with a few retail products on Steam.
Are you planning a Halloween Party this year? How about those friends and family that live far away? Vive has a plan for you.
I'm pretty sure everyone is going to the VR chat Halloween Party already.
Morels: Homestead, a relaxing game in which you can create your own unique homestead, is available now for PC VR.
VR looks incredible. I wish I could get a Vive.
its not an oculus killer, oculus for one thing was here first, its superior, plus a dev recently stated that making full room scale like the vive allows is detrimental, it won't happen with the majority of titles, because they have to think rift too, so if they create games with vives features in mind then they will lose out on money from the oculus fanbase, the devs don't want to snub either device, that's money lost. So the extra features in vive are pretty much useless until cv2 comes out in the future.
Vive is the best VR
I'm converted. This is what VR was meant to be.
Not a dig at Oculus though. They deserve all the credit for getting the ball rolling.
If I do get a VR platform it will definitely be the Steam version. It looks like it's going to be the best one.
