EG:
The good news is that from a technical perspective, Far Cry Primal retains everything that impressed us so much about its predecessor: expansive environments, beautifully long draw distances, a solid lighting model and a rock-solid level of performance. The bad news is that in terms of both graphics and gameplay, perhaps not quite enough has changed - any enhancements are a subtle evolution, as opposed to the visual overhaul you'd expect from a second generation title for the latest wave of consoles.
Far Cry Primal was a bigger switch for the series, and can provide a good template for a possible New Dawn sequel.
Rayan from NoobFeed writes - Sony's latest PlayStation Spring Sale is definitely worth looking for those who have been wishlisting these games after playing on PC and wanted to try them on a different platform.
These are ok and all, but the real jackpot is the AC Antiquity Pack - AC Origins + Odyssey for under $25.00. Now that's a deal.
PP: Sony has added a whole bunch of new games to its ongoing sales, and this week’s new additions are actually really good.
Sony has updated its continuing sales with a plethora of new titles, and the games added this week are top-notch. The unpredictable truck's movement adds an extra layer of fun and energy to the game, and each level adds a fresh dose of stress and adrenaline. https://clusterrush.io
"On the whole Far Cry Primal is a solid release on both machines. PS4 and Xbox One deliver highly playable experiences with very little in the way of technical shortcomings that distract from the familiar action on offer. If you've spent time with Far Cry 4, you'll pretty much know what to expect here, and while the scope of the gameplay may lack surprises, the execution can't really be faulted. The increased resolution and overall cleaner presentation make PS4 the best choice, but we have no qualms in recommending the Xbox One game either, where the graphical differences are only mildly visible during play."
That^^ pretty much sums up the whole comparison. No surprises here.
to sum up: ps4 and xbox one both run at solid 30 fps, but ps4 is at slightly higher res, better aa, better shadows, better draw distance.
So PS4 is slightly better, but the game looks great and has stable fps on both consoles. That is great. I don't like when on one console a game runs or looks much better, all that hate is so unnecessary. It doesn't matter what console you have, just buy a game and have fun. For me Primal is amazing, even better than I was expecting.
Nothing new here, the PS4 will only be worse if the studio wants or because of somekind of marketing deal...
Same as always. If you want the game, get it regardless what console you have, but the PS4 version is better..
