Buh?). Capcom prepped gamers by releasing Bionic Commando: Rearmed, a downloadable modern remake of the original game, as a flashy reminder of the basic plot and concept of you as a dude with a bionic arm who swings around and shoots bad guys. This paves the way for the upcoming full-blown sequel. If you're not in a "I'm going to click and read the other previews" type of mood, what you mainly need to know about the new Bionic Commando is that you still have a bionic arm that lets you swing around town; you need to go out and fight some terrorists with a combination of guns, fisticuffs, and bionic-arm-enabled tricks; and you're voiced by the guy from Faith No More.
What's new for Leipzig? The main hook of the demo at Games Convention is multiplayer. Capcom personnel said that BC will have a full array of typical multiplayer modes, but I only had hands-on time with the deathmatch. At the moment, the easiest way to describe deathmatch is that it answers a question I didn't know I'd ask: How would Spider-Man feel if he got to swing around town while toting a shotgun?"

Simon details what it's like creating both music and sounds for major video games, how aspiring designers can break into the industry, whether or not you have to capture all of your own original sounds, and what makes upcoming co-op shooter GTFO special."

And what better way to enjoy the delights of the summer sun than by picking up a new game or two at discounted prices.
