From GameCrate: A look at how the upcoming Sky Fortress DLC for Just Cause 3 turns you into Falcon from The Avengers.
Some games make up for a lackluster story with excellent gameplay. These are some games with average storylines but great gameplay.
Who decides if a games story is average idefinitely ain't listening to no reviewers. I don't agree with most of then anyway. I think alot of them are to harsh on games so they can get clicks
The pinnacle of bad story but great gameplay is Destiny and Destiny 2. What is the Traveler? What is the Darkness? What the heck is happening? No one knew. But shooting the aliens and robots felt so good.
This week in gaming deals we have Mass Effect Legendary Edition the cheapest it's been so far, along with great deals on other games
Overpowered guns can often ruin the balance of a game but they can also be a ton of fun. Unless you're on the receiving end, of course.
Much of this could be cool but it seems like Avalanche Studios immediately realized how popular JC2 was and planned for a sequel to really milk what fans liked about JC2.
PC mods for JC2 added many of the things talked about here. On one hand I applaud a studio for making what fans seem to want but on another it seems like a cash grab.
The entire game development community seems like a giant cash grab these days, tbh. Making money is the general point but it seems like that is all they care about and sacrifice art, credibility, integrity and appreciation to fans/customers.
My main issue is on-disc paid DLC so this isn't where I should direct my diatribe but I think most gamers get what I mean. JC3 didn't feel like it had the same creativity, passion and love put into it ad JC2. Few games seem to have passion obviously infused within them anymore.
story DLC? ok..that's like a first for JC right? kinda interested, but Avalanche and story doesn't really bode well together! 3 JC games and the story is still as crappy as ever! so...I don't know. I already Platinum the game but my overall expression is 7/10 and I have little interest to go back
