EB: There are some significant gameplay features still to be implemented or fully realized and in its present state, Kona only vaguely suggests what it might ultimately become. The story certainly has secrets and surprises but the player is often left without a sense of direction and there are a lot of time-wasting dead ends. Full of both surprising details and missing pieces, Kona is a game to watch and check back in with as it moves towards full release.
