as doesn't this basically take place during 'caveman' era? I don't know the date of what they're going with...

but its probably a 'lex talionis' type of situation, meaning the origin of 'law'...in which the strongest individual enforced whatever was necessary...if that person wanted your food, your mate, your kids, your property...he killed you and took it...

so again, if this game has 'sex' in the sense of two npc's just fooling around because they 'love each other'...forget it...if accurate it would be full on rape of your 'property' just after you were clubbed in the head and bleeding out...

Sorry for the delay in responding. Life happens. But anyway, no I don't feel that it's out of place. Sex is a part of life and this is a game intended for adults who can cope with it. They have ratings for these games and plainly tell you exactly what type of content justifies that rating. If a little nudity or sex offends you, then you can easily see on the labeling that this game has it and avoid it. That is the purpose of the ratings.

To me this is like complaining about the cursing in a Tarantino film. Would the film still be good without all the cursing? Yeah, probably. All the cursing makes it relatable on an entirely different level though, gives it a gritty feel. Same deal here. Is the sex necessary? No. It adds a different level of depth to the atmosphere though. Real life type of things going on.

As far as the ethical side you are questioning, I disagree with your premise that it's flat out wrong. You are not watching a porno. If you don't want to see it then don't go toward the sex sounds. The Witcher 3 goes far closer to that than this game does, but it's all entirely part of a game intended for adults who can appreciate it as straddling the line of censorship while providing a mature game environment.

obviously. I didn't buy the game, then complain at content I was unaware of, I know exactly what's in every game I buy.

But this content in games in general is out of place, regardless if we can relate to it. To actually take the time to make something then implement it in the game, I'm sure it could've went towards something to make the game better. Not just "OMG look they're doing it". I don't mind sex in videogames but man, some, most of it is very ugly with this graphics detail and moves.
